Travel Grants to be awarded for ISNS 2015 Conference in Buenos Aires

From John Finamore, via the ISNS mailing list:

The International Society for Neoplatonic Studies is pleased to announce Travel Grants for the ISNS Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 15-19, 2015.

We will be awarding a $1000 travel grant to the authors of the six best abstracts that have been accepted for presentation at the conference. Applicants are urged to consider re-writing their abstracts before submitting them, especially if they were shorter than the one-page maximum.

The award is intended for students and those in the early stages of their careers. The grant will be given to scholars meeting these criteria who:

– are participating in the Buenos Aires conference

– have had their abstracts approved by the organizers

– have paid their 2015 membership dues

Those interested in applying for this grant should send a copy of their abstract in either Microsoft Word or PDF format to:
1. José M. Zamora <jm.zamora@uam.es>
2. Sara Rappe <rappe@umich.edu>

Please let the judges know whether you are a student or beginning your academic career.

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is March 2, 2015.

Awards will be announced by March 9, 2015. If you have questions, please email John Finamore at john-finamore@uiowa.edu
